Maybe it’s how we are inching so close to Spring or maybe it’s my Southern nostalgia, but I am really in the mood for a nice, cool Mint Julep. Can’t you just see Atticus Finch sipping holding this cool silver glass on a front porch? Answer is: yes.
3 ounces Bourbon
2 tablespoons Mint Syrup
1 sprig of mint
Fill glass with broken or crushed ice. Add mint syrup and bourbon and stir gently until the cup is frosted. Garnish with 1 sprig of mint.
